Natural Serbia

Serbia have 4 National parks: Djerdap, Tara, Kopaonik and Fruska Gora with medieval monasteries, several Natural resorts, several beautiful lakes (Palic, Vlasina, Silver Lake, Bela Crkva lakes), Rivers (Morava, Danube, Sava, Drina) and Natural phenomen like Devil’s Town (candidate for 7 natural wonders of the World), Djerdap Gorge, Ovcarsko-Kablarska Gorge with medieval monasteries, Resava Cave, Ceremosnja Cave, etc. Serbia is a kaleidoscope of rich natural heritage and breathtaking scenery. The magnificence of the country's nature reserves offers any visitor an experience that will go unmatched in their travel history. The mission of Serbia’s Nature Conservancy is to preserve diverse animal and plant life by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.

Zasavica, Carska bara and Obedska bara are only some of the places in Serbia where nature holds sway. These beautifully wild sites are definitely worth visiting…
The most beautiful part of Serbian nature are Serbian villages on Zlatibor Mountain (Ethno village Sirogojno, Gostoljublje with the Waterfalls), Mokra Gora (Famous Sargan Eight train and Ethno complex of famous world fil director Emir Kusturica on Mecavnik Hill – Woodentown/Drvengrad), etc.
In Vojvodina Province, which are the most panonian part of Serbia – low land, have a lot of Ethno complexes in numerous villages... Most famous ethno complexes in Vojvodina are Farm houses called „salasch“.  Serbia is one of the richest geothermal regions in Europe. Spas in Serbia are an ideal place to restore your spiritual and physical energy. There are over 1.000 springs of cold and warm mineral water and rich natural resources of natural mineral gas and medicinal mud that were once exploited by the ancient Romans. Spas in Serbia are situated in pleasant valleys or hill slopes surrounded by woods, pastures  and orchards, cultivated parks and promenades. Modern accomodation facilities, sports areas, parks, swimming pools as well as many manifestations are part of quality tourist offer.
